Publicity Requirements Lead Partner and all DPs partners must use the logo shown on top of the page to publicise the fact that ESF Equal monies are partly funding the Development Partnership's activities.
This publicity should ensure that:
I) Beneficiaries are aware that the European Social Fund is partly financing their participation in your Development Partnership’s activities. For example, to raise ESF awareness amongst beneficiaries DPs should; - display the ESF logo and acknowledge ESF support on forms and literature going to beneficiaries
- mention ESF support in any induction programme
II) Awareness of European Social Fund is raised amongst potential beneficiaries and the general public. DPs should for example;
- display the ESF logo and include a narrative acknowledgement of ESF support in all literature and publications about activities which are part-funded by ESF
- display the ESF logo and include a narrative acknowledgement of ESF support in all literature or on exhibition stands at information events
- acknowledge ESF support in press releases and interviews on specific items of news to generate local TV or radio coverage, articles in national / local newspapers and magazines and articles in trade and specialist press
- refer to ESF support in speeches at award ceremonies, open days, lunch / dinner meetings
All information, publicity and products produced by the Development Partnership must show the logo above and if possible state: “The [Name of the DP] Development partnership is part funded by the European Social Fund under the Equal Community Initiative Programme.”
ESF funding can be withdrawn from any Development Partnership that does not comply with this requirement.
The Development Partnership must display a permanent plaque on the premises of the Lead Partner. If the Development Partnership is due to receive more than £3m in ESF funds, the Lead Partner must also erect a siteboard on the premises of the Lead Partner.
You can get help on the use of the ESF logo from your Support Unit.
