Lifelong Learning
Objectives
- To increase demand for learning amongst individuals, and in particular
amongst individuals who are at risk of unemployment and socially
excluded individuals
- To promote the increased uptake of active learning by organisations which
are key to economic competitiveness in Scotland, particularly amongst
SME's, based in the private and third sectors
Examples of how projects have addressed this theme
include:
- researching the learning needs of individuals
- raising awareness of learning opportunities in an area
- providing advice to those leaving projects on future learning
opportunities
