Info You Need To Know : Publicity

The European Commission requires all projects in receipt of European Structural Fund assistance to acknowledge this support publicly therefore projects funded under the Objective 3 Programme must ensure that they publicise the financial support they have received.

There are a number of ways in which applicants can publicise their ESF project including:

  • Plaques / Site Signage
  • Reports produced such as Annual Reports, Project Evaluations
  • Marketing material: brochures, posters and other forms of printed publicity
  • Press releases and editorial features
  • Media advertising including recruitment
  • Project openings and events
  • Project documentation such as enrolment forms, beneficiary information

Using the Scottish-European Logo

There is a specific logo which applicants can use when publicising their project.  This logo is called 'Scottish-European Logo'.

There are two versions which are available from the downloads section of the website.

Version 1 - The logo with the strap line "Europe and Scotland Making it work together" is the logo used for promoting Structural Fund activity within Scotland.  This logo can be used on general promotional materials.

Version 2 - The logo with the additional strap line "PROJECT PART-FINANCED BY THE EUROPEAN UNION Europe and Scotland making it work together" should be used when publicising a specific project
